Katelynn Everett, MSc, PEng, SFPE, CFEI, CVFI, CCFI-C is co-owner of Point of Origin Consultants Ltd. Katelynn conducts fire scene investigations, fire modelling, crash reconstruction and modelling, and equipment and component failure analysis.
Katelynn is a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB) and holds a graduate degree (MSc) in biomedical engineering in addition to an undergraduate degree (BSc) in mechanical engineering. She is a Professional Member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), and has membership in the Canadian Association of Fire Investigators (CAFI), the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI), the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI). Katelynn is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI).
Katelynn has full ACTAR (Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction) accreditation as a traffic accident reconstructionist and is a member of the Atlantic Chapter of the Canadian Association of Technical Accident Investigators and Reconstructionists (CATAIR), the International Network of Collision Reconstructionists (INCR) and of the Event Data Recorder for Collision Reconstruction (CDRtool) Group.
